Marcos Nadie

ARTIST’S PROFILE
Actor and musician, he began his stage career in 2017 through the workshop Future Lovers, led by La tristura, a company he would later join as a performer in the productions Renacimiento (2020, Teatros del Canal, currently touring internationally) and Así hablábamos (premiered at the CDN in 2024), where he also co-created the original music for the piece.
He has taken part in various audiovisual projects, including the short films Algo así como la noche by Alván Prado and Que mi voz suba a los montes by Gabriel Azorín, which later developed into a feature film currently in post-production.
In 2023, he released his musical project maqueta 1, followed by several singles that explore a fusion between the ballad form and electronic music, achieving strong engagement and reach. He currently combines his work as a producer for several emerging artists with composing music and sound design for stage pieces such as Hacia Pródigo (Eva Mir, 2025), as well as the original musical composition for Violeta Gil’s latest poetry collection, Andábamos maravillados (2025), alongside other personal projects that will be released soon.
Read about Marcos’s residency project below in his words…
In recent months, I’ve been developing loose ideas for what will become my first album. During the residency, I’d like to have the time to focus on this—shaping the project and refining it as much as possible, but also playing without worrying about finding the perfect melody, writing without knowing whether it will become a song or something else, exploring other sound devices, reading, walking, thinking, talking, sleeping.
Having time—perhaps that’s what best summarizes my intention for the residency at La Moissie.
