ARTIST’S PROFILE

Marion Bretagne is an independent art director, illustrator and teacher based in Paris. She specializes in crafting expressive and tactile creative projects, ranging from visual identities to animations, with a playful, raw and poetic visual language. Her work blends art and design, intentionally echoing the soft beauty of the imperfect, the improvised and the mundane, with a touch of humour and mischief.

During her residency at La Moissie, Marion has been creating a series of monotype illustrations inspired by Belvès, its people, its market, its landscapes and daily rhythms. She is now transforming these drawings into short animations. Through intuitive observation and drawing, she seeks to capture and translate the spirit of the place into her own visual language
